"Prototype" can be called a model in laymans terms

First understand the so-called "hand board", in layman's terms, you can also call it a model, manual model, prototype, etc. The "prototype factory" is not always called the "XXX prototype factory", it may be XXX model company XXX Rapid Prototyping Co., Ltd., XXX Technology Co., Ltd., etc.

From a scope point of view, the "prototype" mentioned here is first narrowly defined as a prototype for general-purpose products. Special industries such as automobile sludge models are excluded first.

For most of the brothers who are in the student stage or the junior industrial designer stage, it is already very pleasant to see their own works being produced, and they can achieve clear division, accurate material process calibration, silk screen and other documents. Very complete, very rare (not rare, not at all!)

Plastic prototype production can be roughly divided into appearance prototypes and structural prototypes according to different stages and purposes. If all software and hardware are complete, the prototype is installed and started, which is the so-called "functional prototype". However, there are exceptions. For example, pure sheet metal products rarely have a separate appearance prototype stage. In most cases, the appearance and structure are directly entered into the prototype testing phase.
